Wednesday we updated you on how Sen. Obama has added five new folks to his LGBT campaign team. But we were disappointed that although LGBT outlets were covering it, mainstream press was not. Now mainstream press is beginning to take notice of Rep. Tammy Baldwin’s involvement as co-chair of the team. The first mainstream outlet to write about Baldwin was her home state’s Journal-Sentinel, and we hope other outlets nationwide will begin to cover LGBT issues as thoroughly this election season.
